Part 1: Hometown - The Festival Grounds

Before stepping into the Dark World, Chapter 5 begins on a bright Saturday morning in Hometown, which is currently holding its annual festival.

Step-by-Step Checklist:

Kris's House: You begin in Kris's bedroom. Toriel asks you to help warm up the toast.
- Action: Head to the kitchen and interact with the toaster. (Dialogue choice: 【待玩家核验：不同面包焦度是否影响后续对话？】)
Gather the Party: Walk south into Hometown. You will encounter Noelle and Susie discussing the festival. Talk to them to have them join your party.
The Beach Excursion: Go further east past the festival booths.
- Secret: Walk all the way to the shoreline. You will get a heartwarming cutscene where Susie and Noelle talk about the horizon.
Entering the Flower Shop: Go to Asgore's flower shop (Flower King). Noelle will purchase some flowers and head out first. Susie will then decide she wants to buy flowers too to show her appreciation.
The Fountain Opens: In a shocking turn of events, Kris removes their SOUL and slashes the ground, opening a brand-new Dark Fountain right in the center of Asgore's shop, dragging Kris and Susie inside.

Part 2: Into the Dark World - Asgore's Flower Shop

You wake up separated from Susie and Noelle in a surreal dark world themed around giant, glowing flower buds, garden shears, and golden pollen.

Wardrobe Puzzle:

To find your party, you will come across a room with four locked wardrobes.

Interacting with the first three wardrobes yields funny flavor text (Susie's voice can be heard from one, Noelle's from another).
Open the Fourth Wardrobe: This will trigger Ralsei to pop out!
Flowery's Entrance: Immediately after, the main antagonist Flowery (Asgore's old friend resurrected in the Dark World) makes an entrance. He drops Ralsei's classic Chapter 1 green cloak and hat on his head, saying Ralsei looks "better this way." Ralsei's sprite will revert to his hooded look!
Your Mission: Ralsei explains that the Roaring Knight is hunting Asgore, who has been trapped in the deeper parts of this Dark World. You must reach the center of the garden before the Knight does.

Part 3: The Field of Blooming Dreams

This zone is beautiful, filled with honey streams and massive sunflowers. Here are the enemies you will face and how to spare them for a Pacifist Run.

Enemy Sparing Guide:

Pollener (花粉怪)	Shoots drifting yellow pollen specs that slow down your SOUL.	Have Susie use the `Blow` (吹气) ACT to scatter the pollen. The enemy will become spareable on the next turn.
Honey-Bee (甜心蜜蜂)	Drops hexagon-shaped honeycombs that restrict your movement.	Have Kris use `Distract` (吸引注意力) while Ralsei and Susie `Hum` (哼歌).

Part 4: Puzzle Solutions

Chapter 5 introduces light-based and water-based mechanics. Here are the solutions to the two major progression-blocking puzzles.

1. The Blossom Gate Puzzle (花卉大门密码)

Near the entrance to the honey-comb maze, you'll find a massive gate blocked by red, yellow, and blue vines. In front of it are three colored flower pressure plates.

Clue: Watch the background bees flying. They will land on the giant flowers in a specific repeating pattern.
The Code: Yellow ➔ Blue ➔ Red
Solution: Step on the plates in that exact order to trigger the gate mechanism and open the path.

2. The Watering Can Maze (洒水壶走迷宫)

In this room, massive stone watering cans tilt back and forth, pouring rain droplets onto the paths. If a droplet hits your SOUL, you get washed back to the start of the maze.

Solution:
1. Have Susie lead the party.
2. Activate Susie's specialized action: Shield (盾牌护体).
3. Walk slowly behind Susie's shield to block the falling droplets as you cross the wet bridges.

Part 5: Main Boss Guide - Flowery

The climax of the Chapter 5 Dark World takes place at the "Heart of the Conservatory" where you face Flowery.

Boss Attack Phases:

Phase 1: Vine Whip (藤鞭横扫)
- Attack: Fast-moving green lines cross the screen vertically and horizontally.
- Strategy: Stay near the center of the box and micro-dodge. The hitbox is slightly smaller than the line itself.
Phase 2: Petal Rain (落英缤纷)
- Attack: Giant red petals slowly fall from the sky, tracking your SOUL's horizontal position.
- Strategy: Move Kris in a smooth, continuous figure-8 pattern to guide the petals away from the center.

How to Spare Flowery (Pacifist Route):

Do not attack! To win peacefully:

Have Kris use the ACT Reminisce (回忆往事) to talk about Asgore's flower shop and the golden flowers.
This will reduce Flowery's attack power and raise his Mercy meter by 25% per turn.
Once the meter hits 100%, use Ralsei's Pacify or select Spare from the menu.
Reward: Flowery will be recruited and move to Castle Town, opening a brand-new Florist Shop!

Part 6: Secret Boss & Shadow Crystal Speculation

Each chapter in Deltarune features a hidden "Secret Boss" (like Jevil in Ch1 and Spamton NEO in Ch2). Chapter 5 is no different, though the community is still piecing together the exact unlock sequence.

The Golden Seed: In the Watering Can Maze, there is a hidden path to the far right. Use Susie's shield to cross an extremely fast water stream to find a chest containing the Golden Seed.
Planting the Seed: Take the Golden Seed back to Castle Town and plant it in Ralsei's castle garden.

Initially, Toby Fox planned to release Chapters 3 and 4 together as a paid release, followed by Chapter 5 later. However, on June 24, 2026, Chapter 5 was officially rolled out as a free update for all players who already owned the base game (which includes Chapters 3 and 4).

Q2: What happens if I play the Weird Route in Chapter 5?

Warning: Spoilers! Much like the Snowgrave Route in Chapter 2, there is a hidden alternative path in Chapter 5. It is triggered by 【待核验：如何在本章诱导Noelle或Susie进行特殊攻击？】. This route leads to a completely different, significantly harder final boss fight.
