1. Entering Cyber World & The Trash Zone

  1. The Library Computer Lab: After Chapter 1's events, Susie and Kris visit the library. A new Dark Fountain is opened in the computer lab, pulling you into the Cyber World.
  2. Meet Queen & Noelle: Queen (the glasses-wearing antagonist) appears early. Noelle is also pulled in — her role becomes critical, especially on the Weird Route.
  3. The Trash Field: The opening area is full of digital trash and broken code. Use the floating platforms and ride the trash chutes. Important: The Trash Field is where the Snowgrave route begins — if you intend to do it, you must NOT progress past a certain point first.

2. Cyber City & Queen's Mansion

  1. Cyber City: A neon-soaked digital cityscape. Many new enemies appear here, all of which can be recruited via the ACT/Spare system.
  2. Key Enemies (sparing tips):
    • Werewerewires / Tasque Manager: Use specific ACTs to pacify, then Spare.
    • Sweet Cap'n Cakes (the dance trio): Perform their dance ACTs in the correct rhythm to befriend them.
  3. Queen's Mansion: Queen's lavish digital mansion holds many puzzles — the color swatches, the acid pond, and the statue room. Solve each to proceed toward the boss.
  4. Spamton Encounter (early): Inside the mansion/alleys you meet Spamton, a glitchy salesman who sells you the KeyGen. Keep this item — it's essential for the secret boss.

3. Main Boss: Queen (Spamton NEO Intro)

Queen is the chapter's primary antagonist, but the final confrontation is comedic and chaotic rather than purely hostile.

  • The Fight: Queen uses a giant mech (Giga Queen) and throws projectiles. Defend often, keep HP up, and chip away with Kris's attacks and Susie's Rude Buster.
  • Sparing Queen: Like King, you can fill the Mercy bar to Spare her, recruiting her to Castle Town.
  • Aftermath: Defeating/Sparing Queen triggers a sequence where Spamton makes his move — this sets up the secret boss fight.

4. Secret Boss: Spamton NEO (Normal Route)

Spamton NEO is Chapter 2's secret boss — a transformed, "Big Shot" version of Spamton. He drops a Shadow Crystal and the powerful Puppet Scarf / Dealmaker armor when defeated.

Step 1 — Get the Empty Disk

After defeating Queen, find the Empty Disk (in the mansion basement / basement shop area).

Step 2 — Use the KeyGen

You previously bought the KeyGen from Spamton. Use it to unlock the basement door leading to the Queen's basement machine.

Step 3 — Transform & Fight

Insert the Empty Disk into the machine. Spamton arrives and transforms into Spamton NEO — a massive, glitchy puppet-boss.

Spamton NEO Fight Strategy:

  • This is a two-phase fight with a fixed 8-turn time limit in the NEO form.
  • Turn-by-turn damage: Use your strongest attacks (Rude Buster, Kris's best weapon) every turn — you must deal enough damage within the turn limit.
  • Yellow ACT: On certain turns, the ACT menu turns yellow. Use the yellow ACT to pull Spamton's wires / heart out, dealing massive damage.
  • Dodging: Spamton NEO's "PIPIS" attacks and swarming emails are brutal. Stay near the edges of the box and weave through gaps.
  • Reward: Victory grants the Shadow Crystal, the Dealmaker armor, and the Puppet Scarf weapon.

5. Snowgrave / Weird Route Guide

The Snowgrave Route (also called the Weird Route) is Chapter 2's equivalent of a "genocide" path. It permanently alters the story and unlocks a different, darker Spamton NEO fight. Once started, it cannot be undone for that save file.

Trigger Conditions (must follow in order)

  1. Do NOT progress past the Trash Field first. The trigger is in the very early game, in the Trash Field / Cyber Field area where you first travel with Noelle.
  2. Control Noelle's actions: Throughout the route, you direct Noelle to use magic in increasingly cruel ways.
  3. Buy the right gear: Purchase specific items for Noelle (e.g., the SnowRing / freeze-related gear) from shops so she can cast Snowgrave.

Key Steps

  1. Trash Field: Force Noelle to freeze enemies with magic instead of sparing them.
  2. Berdly Fight: A pivotal scripted fight where you must use Snowgrave to defeat Berdly — this permanently kills him in this route.
  3. Cyber City Escalation: Continue directing Noelle's magic to freeze every encounter. Her mental state visibly deteriorates.
  4. Final Snowgrave Spamton: At the climax, Noelle casts Snowgrave to permanently defeat Spamton NEO in a single, chilling cutscene (no traditional fight).

Consequences

  • Berdly is gone for the rest of the playthrough and in Chapter 3 onward.
  • Noelle's dialogue and the story tone shift dramatically darker.
  • This route is canon-acknowledged — choices carry into subsequent chapters.

⚠️ Warning: Only attempt the Weird Route if you want the dark alternative story. For a standard playthrough, use the Pacifist Route and save Noelle from manipulation.

❓ FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Is the Snowgrave Route required for 100%?

No. It's an alternative path. If you want to recruit everyone (Pacifist), avoid the Snowgrave trigger entirely.

Can I fight Spamton NEO without the Snowgrave Route?

Yes. Use the KeyGen + Empty Disk method (Section 4) to fight him on the normal route.

Do Chapter 2 choices affect Chapter 3+?

Yes. Whether you spared/killed Queen, the Snowgrave outcome, and recruits all carry over via your save file into later chapters.
